VISUALCOMMUNICATIONS
Graphic design is the art of communicating for the commercial environment around us, from logos to phones, websites to books; it caters for everything in the advertising world. Our new course builds on its past success to raise the standard of design and opportunities for our applicants proceeding in a graphic design degree. In addition to our Bachelor’s degree we engage students in live briefs and encourage involvement in competition assignments.
At Lyit, emphasis is placed at every stage on design-led thinking, generating design concepts and creative solutions. The importance of traditional skills and process is central to the course and while visual communication and digital skills are integral to one another, there is a clear distinction between strong design thinking and digital competency.
